Parent Orientation 3rd-5th Grade Parents - Monday, August 25 at 7:00 pm K-2nd Grade Parents - Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 pm Parent Orientation is a very important night. It provides parents an opportunity to find out more about what will be going on in your child’s life during the school year. All parents will first assemble in the cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. to meet your child’s principals and  hear comments from Mrs. Johnston. Then you will proceed to your child’s classroom to meet with your child’s teacher and other parents. This is a great time to find out what your child will be studying during the year, the teacher’s expectations, and the exciting events that will be occurring throughout the year.   Parents of 3rd-5th graders will find out about Active Parent, a web-based application which allows you to view student's grades, attendance, discipline, and news. To register for this service, parents can complete the Active Parent Registration Form and submit it to the school office.   Parents will also have an opportunity to find out more about the PTO – the various PTO committees and how to join. If you haven’t already joined the PTO you can download a membership form and have it completed before you arrive.
